7th Annual HOGMAN-EH!

The Scottish Society of Ottawa is proud to present our 7th Annual HOGMAN-EH! – a unique New Year’s Eve celebration Scottish style and the BIGGEST Hogmanay celebration outside of Scotland!!

Join thousands from the National Capital Region and beyond to celebrate the end of 2018 and to ring in the new year! Hogman-eh! is a family friendly party inaugurated in 2012 to bring a fun, FREE Scottish style NYE celebration to Ottawa.

Enjoy some of the greatest Scottish?????? live musical entertainment in Canada, options for Scottish good and drink, a Scotch tasting bar, Highland and Scottish Country dancing, the Great Scot! Kids zone (in the adjacent Horticulture Building) a Scottish New Year countdown and balloon drop for the wee ones (7:00 PM, New Years in Scotland), capped off with singing Auld Lang Syne and FIREWORKS  at midnight over the Great Lawn.

Free admission thanks to our generous sponsors. No tickets required. Donations appreciated at the door so we can make this an event an Ottawa institution.

Hogman-eh! is the SSO’s marquee event and supports our aim to rejuvenate the historic and blood-links between Scotland and Canada, celebrating the Scots love of music, dance, history, sport and literature.
